Morning Des, Sam,Ole Mate Nigel, flys Trike, he does a lot of aerial photography for big business and private individuals. That pic was taken last year on a flight over to Bridport when my gyro was white. Same day as the pic posted.I tried to get a copy off the shelf in Launie to no avail, I guess it's still a members only Mag???Des the other gyro pilot was Jeff Blackberry, see pic.Jeff in flight, pic by Nigel.Image Insert: 53.81

Mitch, I still reckon the ocean pic above is one of the best in flight ones I've seen. Looking forward to seeing you back in the air. Echo

Morning Des,Bit hard to see from the pics but in the aerial shot of Jeff Blackberry's gyro, you can see the tank is gone. Jeff shed 19 lbs (might have been 30 lbs) by getting rid of that seat and side tanks and changing out his landing gear from mild steel to chrome moly. Might tidy up before the Nats (trim that is).Des where did you get hold of the mag...I tried to by it from the largest newsagency/bookshop in Launceston...not on the shelves.??? Echo,Have that as my screen saver, gives me inspiration. Spent all day yesterday glassing and building. Cheers Mate.Mitch.

Great pics Mitch. Keep at it, and you will be back up in the air happy and wiser. I am a bit like you in as much I have to have a Firebird pic on the screen to really appreciate the progress finally happening after the 3 years of headaches I had with my first NZ guy.I have more accomplished in 8 months than the previous 3 years.See you in the air next year when I bring Firebird to Tassie.Aussie Paul.[]www.firebirdgyros.com

'Firebird' might become 'Waterbird' if the fire goes out as you fly across Bass Straight Paul, so don't forget to wear your waterwings.PeteBairnsdale,Vic.

Hi Mitch, The RAA mag is available in the News agent in Geraldton and I have seen them in the ones in Midland Gate, Morley Galerrea, Whitfords City and the Carrosel shopping centre and the news agent at Bullsbrook so they are well placed around. What you focus on grows.
