Looks like real nice country. where abouts are you at? I see your tail is aluminum. How was that for working with when you were building?Flying the right side up in Canada

How was that for working with when you were building?It's Russia and there are a lot of lovely landscapes there - really.As for metal tail: I fabricated it basing on famous "Zodiac" (by Chris Heinz) airplanes methods since I had a good practice translating into Russian a "Zodiac" builder's manual and taking part in assembling of two CH601 Zodiacs. Building such tail is way simplier, cheaper and faster than the original composite one. And I hate to work with epoxy... But the first reason was that this metal tail weighs 8.2 kg instead of 12 kg in original tail. I had already built similar metal T-tails for Dominator and classic tail for Gyrobee earlier. Basically this weekend trip was also to get some testing for this metal tail - I've just finished it before. Manufacturing it took ca. 5-6 days including some preparations.Cheers,Alex
