Sonny Jeffers is a Mate for life. He made his way to Mentone from the mountains of North Carlolina to meet a couple of Aussies and catch the PRA Convention for the first time.Sonny had been 'teased up' for a session on 'Square Bear' Bundy Rum, by the likes of Echo, Birdy and others. The language barrier had Sonny believing I was bringing square beer, so when we got to drinking the tripple filtered stuff (you can get it at Duty Free as you exit the country)we kinda gave it a big nudge. Bloody smooth!!!Must confess I'd rather have a burboun but that tripple filtered stuff sure is nice.Turns out Sonny and wife Barbara have some home brewing skills. Great people.
