G,day.By cripes, John Hill's gyro looks good !Are they made locally or is it a one-off ?Could that machine be built using an 80HP,912 Rotax ?I dont trust 2 strokes. The Jittny may be over powered with the 80HP donk but I seeroom there for a couple of paniers or buggery boxes to carrya little stuff on longer trips etc, also a larger fuel capacitywould be good.Wouldn't that maybe fix any over power problem ?Up here in the north, just down the road, is usually 2,3 or 4hundred km, mostly tiger country. To fly the dawn patrol I wouldlike to carry a bit of a tucker box and a spanner !One other thing :The chasis on gyro's are always hung together with plates and boltsetc. Couldn't they be professionally welded or would that be unsafe ?Jeez, thats a nice lookin gyro.PS.Dyin to know what Pauls going to tell us about Murrays gearbox as I like to learn new stuff. That tandem also looks great.Cheers.Safe flying.Robert DunnMackay. Qld.Growing old is good while it lasts.
