Hello all,I have here, at the moment, the exact hub-bar that woody has described in the first post on this subject. The block has been milled out at each end and there is an extra bolt. On my standard head, these bolt heads interfere with the bottom plate in the head. There are no blades to go with this bar (which is 3ft) as they were destroyed in a upset a few years ago. It is not mine. The machine they came off was originally built by Nev Walker at Home Hill, Qld. The blades were Larkin.I might be able to produce a pic of it if it is really important.Fish

Nicholas,Yes, was not convinced of the cables integrity and above all the safety of the exercise, in the light of the modern approach this system was designated to the round filing cabinet. All the best.Pete Barsden

Pete,Do you have any sketches of the set up you tried? I'm curious as to how you had it arranged.Cheers,Nick.
