  • #2
Had a stuff up on take off Mitch Didnt have power to climb on take off and was aiming to put back down but with no strip room left was aimed to put in paddock which would of been successful but clipped a netting gate and tumbled into a mess. Prob too cocky and casual with nearly 1oo hrs.

The engine had 1300 hrs before rebuild. Was rebuilt as it had a slight vibration. Nothin majorly found but had all vital parts replaced. Have receipts for proof of what was done. Was done by Richard Eacott Rotax engine specialist. Also can prove that was first rebuild as there is full macine logbook.

To be fair, a properly rebuilt 4banger rotax is good as new, and a prop strike dont bother them [ speakn from unfortunate experiance ere] , but ol mate shoulda said it is a rebuilt one at the start.Id have no hassles with it, if the rebuild was dun proper.seriously, guys. 2nd danger zone. 80 to 100 hours .alan wardell has this time zone as a danger period. what can be done to reduce accidentsBuggered if i know Tony, coz you can talk till your blue in the face, but you wont stop sumone who wants to do it, no matter how much bent aluminium you show um. ???
