Gidday All,As indicated by the President, ASRA has decided to formally attend NATFLY 2011 at Temora over Easter this year.Early discussions with RA-Aus on our presence there indicate that we are most welcome and they are trying to ascertain our needs to satisfy our requirements. To this end, would any member intending to have a gyro there please indicate this on this post. This will ensure that a large enough space to accommodate the gyros in one place can be set aside. The sooner we know numbers, the sooner we can get things organised. As far as operational information is concerned, an AIP Supplement is being prepared at the moment and a copy or link will be posted on this Forum when it is released. It is absoloutely necessary that all pilots intending to fly at the event become very familiar with this document.I understand that in previous years, gyros have establised an excellent reputation for proper conduct in the air and those responsible are to be congratulated. We must show to all and sundry that we are equal to or better than other operators by strict adherence to the rules of the day.Stay tuned,Regards,Allan Wardill

Spirit tickets are booked and paid for. I"ll be disembarking the Spirit early Thursday morning, no other plans that to head towards Temora. Not planning on leaving till the Monday morning.I can park the Monarch up and I"ll need camping with the Gyro Van.Might have a bottle or two of Purple Polish with me.What"s the deal, are we promoting all gyro types under the ASRA banner? Can we hand out marketing material or No!How much individual flying can we do?Thanks,Mitch
