  • Replacing Rosco style suspension rubbers

    Has anyone made a jig to compress the rubbers in the Rosco suspension setup .I have the new rubbers ,need to compress them to fit.Or does anyone have an alternate way?ThanksDave

        G" Day Dave, Rosco uses a slightly longer bolt now to make it easier. Iv"e allways promised myself to make up a jig to compress them after struggling with the bloody things. But go off flying and keep putting the challange off. It"s only crap rubber these days, so I let mine sag considerably as new rubbers don"t last long. Some times I cheat and slip a couple of good old squashed ones amongst the new ones to make it easy.

            Great, Dave, I hear the brain uses 300 watts of energy when concentrating, so I"ll copy yours when you"ve worked it out to help save the environment. (Then we"ll probably find Rosco"s made one twice as simple)
