582 choke mechanism

On my trusty Rotax 582 I`ve been using a bicycle gear lever to wind on the two chokes. This has done the job, but is far from perfect.
Does anyone have a better idea of what to use that would hold the chokes on fully? I want to mount it up on the block as I have a pull start.

It's possible to buy a Manual choke kit for the carburettors. Call Bert Flood for availability and price Be sure to have your credit card ready though. I don't expect they'll be cheap.
