  • Butterfly Dismantled.

G'Day Gents,Pretty much have it all broken down now. Seems one of the few straight pieces is the MAST. Am in the process now of recovering washers and saddles off of all the tubes. All the U Brackets (black anodised 7000 series) are all good. Some Rotor head parts need replacing. Mostly the rebuild involves making a new front end (triangulated tube sections) and a wider wheel base. So pretty much a new frame. Perfect opportunity to getting our own frame manufacturing under way. Stepping up from the 57" wheel base to 72" as next time out I'll be flying on Patroney Blades. Here's a few pics.Cheers,Mitch.Dismantled PartsImage Insert: 62.5 KBMast is straight, with no percieved twist.Image Insert: 33.56 KBAxle bolts and shock strut attachment plates.Image Insert: 39.87 KBFront EndImage Insert: 60.08 KBwww.thebutterflyllc.com
