Here is another failer, Nick !!I used alloy sticky back same specs as S/S stuff.I used it on my IVO and due to flexing this is what kept happening every 6 hours or less.Regards Sam. []Image Insert: 26.93

Hummm Ok I won't bother with black tape as a prop guard then eather it sticks less than both of those tapes ! .... how about 2" wide scotch tape ? ya never know !!!!Bob......" I have been using a one inch aluminium tape by 3M on that sticks like..chewy... and protects for a couple of months each time without signs of cracking. Only about $40 for a lifetime supply.Pete

100 mph? Well I figger that a prop is going faster than that for sure. But I do know from experieance that duct tape will hold an antena on a wing strut, real good.CheersSonnyIntelligence is not a privilege,it is a gift and should be used for the good of mankind.

Actually,I should add that Ross Bannerman bought some of the 3M tape and tried it out, the clear ?mylar film. It looked OK after a couple of hours, but how it progresses over time we are yet to see - will follow up later.Nicholas TomlinAlarmist - www.alarmist.com.au - we scare for you
