I"m looking for a devise that"s reliable and small that converts 14vdc to around 5volts pulse around 80hz for the purpose of feeding the pulse into an ej22 computor speedo terminal to confuse it to believe it"s in a mobile car. I hope someone out there has attacked this problem before!

Those problems have been adressed many time by Brian Maloney and Rosco 0880879148. I havent a number for Brian Maloney. There are a couple of other things I think you need to know but those guys should be able to set you straight.
