Birdy was getting 220-230 but was not hitting the rear stop at the head afore the stick it the tank. And all this even after I had the stick modify tig welded. Today I was at the mates engineering shop getting No 3 stick bent to suit the new seat tank modification....Thanks again Birdy for the tank. weldingI have a safe stick now and reaching the rear stop at the head. Also I have adjusted the belt and 250 is std.I hope to fly Wednesday and Thursday and will do so more tests.Allan flight tested Daj"s Monarch recently and got 270 or 280 before he new it, said it come up quick. So I figured I had something not working right and turned out to be a couple things. Plus I"m dragging my ass all the time, need to get the stick forward more. Mitch.

mitch, i"ve been in a flat spin and seen another in a flat spinn and know its taken a lot including full noise to get out of it, my question was how do you get out of a spin without your engine working for you?

Plus I"m dragging my ass all the time, need to get the stick forward more. Tiz zactly wot i was go"n to sugest mate. BUT, take it easy.Gradualy get the stick further forwards faster, over several take offs, and youll be supprised at how fast your AS comes up.The "BUT" refers to the machine getn very giggly on the nose wheel as you blast off, specialy if the spinner is still applyn torque.Easy duz it Mitch, youv already bent it wunce. >
