Had a bloke turn up yesterday and as soon as he opened his mouth he asked, "why don"t you put a gearbox on your subaru to speed up the prop" Then asked for a TIF and wanted to go up straight away with no ground briefing and take the stick. I said "If you push the stick suddenly forward 2inches wer"e both dead. He said "Then I"ll pull the stick back" I looked at his third eye (forehead) and saw "dickhead" etched across, told him he"s not to touch the controls at all, and if he did I may have to shoot him with the gun in my pocket (bluffing) Thank god those type of people are rare, but they are out there and can kill you!

I still regularly have to "do my spiel" to people to explain how a gyro flies and explain away the stigma that gyros have attached to them. So, have any of you had somebody ask you to demonstrate a power pushover? :P

If someone asked for a power push over demo Quoj, I"d look at his forehead and see Nutter etched, and definitely leave him on the ground. These days Bill I travel around these crock infested areas with a nice legal st. steel .44 mag. ladies rifle. Fits behind the seat cushions on my rosco trainer. You never know when the ea81 may let you down. The cruiser cabin machine needs a bigger tail. I now know why the cruiser guys put such a huge tail on there machine. Would love to get a c/ fibre twin tail. Would rather buy than try to make. Rob Pat. is just plain too busy. Does too good a job.
