Hopped into me mates jabiru, goin for a look about. Get to about 2000ft, a few miles down the track. Next thing we feel a strange vibration, then it goes, phew, then it comes back even harder, yikes, then the cabin begins to sort of vibrate, loud noises happening outside, geez.......that's it, we're done for.Me mate spins it around, we're headen home, we hope.We land, taxi up, get out, look about the machine........it was the bloody seatbelt extension strap, it had dropped out the door as the door was closed, then was wacking the side of the cabin.I can tell you, at 2000ft over tiger country, them trees are waiting for you, so you think, aye......phew, and them jabirus fly reel slow aye.....like 90knts touch down.....yikesRuss....A1014 NT....gods country

Good one Russ, that reminds me of when i used to muster with a fw ultralight, we had done one run and me brother got in with me to be a spotter over one paddock that we had a stuff in, got up and headed off for the paddock, bout ten minutes in,there was a vibration coming through the frame that i kept my leg on for that reason, so headed for the main road to follow home incase, when the miss got bad enough to feel proper, Kev said lucky we got the road to follow, then he looks up ahead and saw a triple road train coming towards us, and his quick wit still stays with me"that be right survive the crash and then get run over by a bloody great truck"Remember -- A good friend will come and bail you out of jail...BUT a true friend will be sitting next to you saying, "Damn...that was fun!"Mark
