Birdsville

There is a group of five gyros leaving this Friday for a week long trip out to Birdsville, with the amount of rain they have had out there lately the country should look amazing.
We are all flying two seaters and will be accompanied by our wives.......... Could be interesting seeing how they cope with gyro touring.

Well we made it, with stops along the way at Mudgee, Narromine, Cobar, Tilpa, White Cliffs, Tibooburra, Cameron's Corner and Innamincka. We are now on the way home through Windorah and Quilpie. Trying to work out the flight plan for the next few days with some bad weather imminent. Might have to sit and wait for a day or so at Walgett.

Not much to do at Walgett, maybe a few drinks and chase pigs?

We got out of Walgett this morning and I flew through some pretty nasty weather to get to Gunnedah, i think the country has seen enough rain for the moment.
