I have managed to get booted off the American forum for making a rude suggestion to another poster.A couple of years ago I had the opportunity of doing some fixed wing training with the HAR's guys over in Portugal and spent about a month with them....they did not seem to be excessively faint of heart and actually used common launguage to describe things.So I got to thinking, hell it's that time of year when I am not away flying and I need something to pass time with. I like flying gyroplanes and have an intrest in helping to make the sport a little safer so I thought I would try the Aussie gang for a while.I have not lived a very sheltered life and sometimes I tend to offend the sensibilities of more cultured people, so if I accidently forget and revert to my natural instincts and I am not sensitive enough for some of you guys and gals here e-mail me and express your feelings and I will try and correct my behaviour.Anyhow I already have a sort of working relationship with a couple of you Aussies so lets see how long I can last here. Thanks, I have no doubt that I will enjoy this group because I am an honourary Aussie anyhow.By honourary I am referring to being Approved by CASA to train Au. pilots on Au. registered aircraft without having had to sit the mind numming process of doing your ATP license ....I hope you won't hold it against me that I sucked up to the dark side for approval?Anyhow the HAR's guys were a pleasure to work with and I hope to someday go to Sidney and show them how to stay alive flying that black toy of theirs on the water.Yeh , I'm not really booted off just put in the corner for ten days like some bad little school child that couldn't behave...I have ten days to decide what to do with that issue, but if you read what led up to it you will see it did not come as a complete suprise to me. Quite frankly I did it on purpose to see how they handle such childish mudslinging as went on between us.But seriously I am very well aware of what is going down and I am sure that we will have some real good fun here...Paul and I tangled as.holes many years ago and we had no problem sorting out our differences on our own.And I just have to come Australia to see that Birdy creature up close , that I just have to do because he is really worth traveling there to see from what I can gather here.Right now I am home working on the airframe of a Super Cub I bought with all that cash I made last summer flying with the Dutch , another super bunch of guys.Maybe next year I will sort of retire and build a Little Wing ( I at least bought the plane from Ron. ) and do something about gyro flight instruction.....But I also have agreed to do some other stuff in Europe so unless I get shot again I don't see any real chance of retiring for another few years.So I will fasten my seat belt and see if I can ride with you guys for a while. Chuck not sure what is going on with your postings, but up the top of mine there is the symbol with a pencil that is the edit one but yours doesnt seem to have it ??????Mark

The rift between the two camps was further widened by this conference and the various posters that wait in the wings ready to pounce anyone who ever mentions RAF in a positive light (except Stan).I have met the other camp, they have become closed minded and firmly entrenched.While all you people are asleep I just got up and went to another computer that allowed me to log on to the rotorcraft forum in the U.S.A. so I can read what is being discussed since I have been sent to the woodshed to repent for my sins.The attachment was taken from one of the posts that is discussing the safety issues surrounding RAF.I urge everyone down your way to take the time to read carefully through the discussion and observe how it slowly degenerated into a situation that leaves the root problem unsolved.Anyone see a disconnect between facts and politics in the above statement pasted from the USA forum?So while you guys are sleeping and regenerating your strength to face another day, I have things to do, however I will have more to say on the thread that is getting so much activity in the USA...much more.[]Chuck Ellsworth
