Brian, I like your pictures of "summer grass". I was up the paddock yesterday arvo and had the dog on the bike, I hopped off to open the gate and looked back at the quad, all I could see was the dog! Sure is a good season here, the grass is up to my chest and STILL green!Thunder storms here yesterday afternoon and still raining well this morning, over 2 inches in the gauge at six oclock with a forecast of 36 degrees...and had a total fire ban on monday.its going to be an interesting feburaryMark

Sure is high grass when you cant see the 4 wheeler. Incredible to have green feed in summer, something I havent seen for a long time.No rain down this way at this stage although while its not hot, its extremely humid, problably nearly as humid as Darwin weather.I hear there were fire problems in Victoria yesterday but I didnt catch where,
