Burn"n agin. :So much for saven feed Bones, buggerall left of me 1100sq miles now. >Sparky cloud went over last nite, and qess wut, it lit up only a coupla Ks from mally, yeh, where we stoped the first one. :Didnt even know it was there till i was comen back from BC this arvy. Just moved all the weaners out to NM yesterday, now i gota find feed sumwhere else coz wen i got close it was sootn down the road. Thought id better swing the gate in the corner at the trap yard, but wen we got there it was already alite and we had to leg it outa there with 40" flames up our ass, but thanc crist there wasnt any weaners there. Both weaner paddocks gon, most of the bullock padd, and now the other half of acacia, half of brumby n the rest of brahma south of the huckitta, so far.Cant wate to see wot [ isnt] left tmorrow.

Start yellingDont do any such thing. The last thing i need is a mob of idiots thinkn they can help, getn in me way n telln me wot to do.Besides, it goes with the teritory. Live ina desert, expect it to be usualy dry.Wen you get record rains ina desert, expect fires.Wen the fires have cleaned house, expect a flood of ferel camels.IOW, roll with natures punchs. Itll hurt much less that way.BTW, went for a looky this mor"n to find we actualy had 5 fires started by lightning. Still never saw a cooked weaner or even a burned fence, justa lota black.A few scuds went through last nite n all was dark by midnite but strong southers blew in at day lite and fired it up agin. Cant see jacsh1t for smoke n dust now. The one that restarted south of ere sooted past the house bout an hour ago and is on its way to me neibours.

Talking to friends in the SW of Queensland were saying they have had more fires as well and it seems that the amount of unburnt country is getting less every time one of those thunderstorms go over. We had up to 136 points at a few spots here Wednesday night, 465 points here at the house which will be very handy as it will green up the speargrass butts and lessen the fire risk. Might have even knocked down some of the spinafex tops [shoulder high]Lots are going through some of the most testing times you can imagine, marriages, livelhoods etc etc. The devil is having a field day!!

Iv just wasted anatha day of my miserable life coz things are made more complicated n they need to be. >Wen our inverta blew up from the cloud spark, i ordered from ol mate a replacement one.I hada 5 KVA 48V inverta/charger, and all i wanted to do was replace wot i had. " cant do it, they dont make dinosours any more" was his smartass comment.Well, if i cant get one off you, ill get one off sumone else coz i know it can be dun, just by cancelling all the auto crap thats init, and just hava inverta/charger.Well bugger me, he DOSE have one, and in stock too. Out comes this box witha inverta and alota other unnessasary crap. I wired it all up n bingo, we"er bac in bussness. Just so happens we"v had 3 days of cloud so i needed to use the charger side of the box. Fired up the geny n,..........., nuthn!Spat the dummy,.............,still nuthn. > >Gess wut, its stady arvy n noone in stralya answers the f*** fone ona weekend. After alota humbugn, he finaly answeres the fone today n says i gota plug in the laptop!?!? "speek inglish you idiot"!!!"I ordered an inverta charger, not a mars rocket launcher, you were sposed to make it into an inverter charger."Turns out, Lizs spancn new laptop wouldnt/couldnt talk to the inverta, and he [ and his techy in could hear in the bacground] couldnt figure why not :.Told him jokenly that i should bill him for all this unneeded fone wasten time, he said thats orrite, he"d bill me $250 ph for answern it, so i reminded him i hadnt paid for the inverta yet.He wasnt impressed and that was it. [ after sales service??? WTF is that???]I tryed an old dinosour lapy [ Lizs origional one] and bingo, it talks to this new pice of s***.Now we is onto it i thought as i reconfigured the setns with the old lapy [ and thinkn im a proper pooter spert now]. All set, fired up the geny agin,........... F**** NUTHN AGIN WTF??????After alot of happen"ns i cant find words to discribe, i foud out that there were 2 terminals that were sposed to be bridged, so i bridged um n gess wut,......... it works, better n a new one.No thanks to the f***n sperts that were sposed to set it up this way before they sent it out. Id be a happy people person if people didnt insist on pushn my unhappy button :.
