this has been talked about before & not much happened. The gyro news badly needs some stories to make it the magazine it should be, now I have great trouble believing that our members are unable to think of ANY stories that could be used in the GN.Thing is that its OUR magazine that"s suffering. It doenst matter if your prose isn"t eloquent or you think your story isn"t worthwhile or even if its a flying story you have read somewhere, just give it a go please. Is there anyone who would volunteer to chase up stories

I"m sure many of us would like to submit a story Brian but are afraid of CASA pings or the like as the average bush pilot is living a very adventurous life. I personally got bored with sky-diving many yrs. ago but gyronauting never bores me as it is an engineering and pilot skill challenge to stay alive. (Humans thrive on challenge) I believe the sport keeps us young and healthy, as long as we don"t stuff-up. However I"ll try to find a story that doesn"t incriminate myself.

I"ve always enjoyed chatting to gerry Goodwin over the years and has made me think that I would always like to visit and meet the man.[probably never get there] so if the GN could get a story on him and his "life about gyros" i"d certainly put my hand up to go and chat to rob p and take a picture or 3 to make up a story and return the favour

Good point.I,d send in a story but my story"s are,nt very exciting.I,ve put a few comments on here.No body seems to interested at what I have to say :-Good point Justin, I reckon my stories aren"t exciting either and I"m sure if you asked say Birdy or Bones, they would posssibly say the same however, why dont you give it a go and submit it to the editor or myself if you want a sounding board, I wont laugh a people in glass houses .............I have given an undertaking to do some stories. I think you will find that people read what you say but dont comment so its not to say that they arent interested. Anyway, what have you got to loose.

I hear what you are saying Max, loud & clear & I have a similar problem.I will get a legal opinion Max & report back.

I once had a bloke approach me who travelled around selling tools in a van who asked me to train people to fly gyro"s on some Island off Africa. Free airfares and accommodation. When he looked at me the hair stood up on the back of my head and I saw with my third eye, "Islamic terrorist" written on his fore-head)
