Unfortunately I wont be flying to Burren.........I would have loved to, but because I couldnt get the eight strong men to help me with doing a tripple hang test on a previously registered two place machine built by Rosco with more than 300 (trouble free) hours flying time, I missed the dead line to re register my gyro. And because I left it too late get a appointment with the only doctor in a town with **** health services, I couldnt get the medical needed to re licence myself to fly the two seater, and because Ill be fu@#ed if Ill pay double like I did last year, because Im apparently too lazy to get my subs in on time, even though I maintained my membership in the years that I didnt have a machine in the air, I wont be flying until the end of December, when if I can co-ordinate the farm, My wife, four kids and Christmas time, the bush fire season, the livestock carting business and driving B-double log trucks a couple of times a week, marking 300 calves and trying to get an appointment with Doc Sutherland..... well I might be able to fly me gyro!there is still the question of finding enough blokes to help with the hang test off a suitable tree......without rooting the machine! >Happy days guys,Mark.

Mark,We can do your hang test at Burren if you want,it would be an interesting exercise for others to see how its done. I don"t think we have a tandem Rosce yet for the record. If you don"t carry two people a lot just get the single seat "self" medical for now and the other down the track when you have time. The late membership fees, cows, kids and Christmas I cant help you with unfortunately.

Just a reminder about fuel. The local servo only has 92 octane. We are getting 1000 litres of 98 octane in drums delivered to the airstrip, so if you are flying in and need fuel send me an email so we can have an idea of what we need. murraysbarker@bigpond.com.
