Hi Phil, Inaugurated Michael Oconnell's new airstrip, (600metres grass)on Sunday, having spent Saturday erecting the new hangar.Celebrated by doing my first two circuits on my machine.The field is big enough to do the circuit within the perimeter.Michael and his brother Dick have bought a flex-wing microlightbetween them and will learn to fly that first, then the gyro.He'll be able to fly the trike morning and evening, and the gyrofor the rest of the day. About 50 hours gyrogliding55 hours runway crowhops,45 minutes with an instructor in the back (Twinstarr).5 minutes in the circuit.CheersFergus.
