Just got home from a weekend at Ozkosh which was held at Narromine NSW. The event itself was pretty poorly attended and sad to say will keep going down hill without some more exciting events to bring in the public.
The highlight was however the amount of gyros that flew in for the event, there was six or so Sportcopters, three or four TAG machines, one Brako, three Magnis and three Autogyro aircraft. Shame that there was no home built machines to show the public the full range available!
I also got the opportunity to meet four gyro pilots that started flying as far back as 1972, the stories they tell about the early days are hilarious.
Any weekend surrounded by aircraft is a good weekend😀
