  • Ozkosh 2016 @ Narromine.

Just got home from a weekend at Ozkosh which was held at Narromine NSW. The event itself was pretty poorly attended and sad to say will keep going down hill without some more exciting events to bring in the public.
The highlight was however the amount of gyros that flew in for the event, there was six or so Sportcopters, three or four TAG machines, one Brako, three Magnis and three Autogyro aircraft. Shame that there was no home built machines to show the public the full range available!
I also got the opportunity to meet four gyro pilots that started flying as far back as 1972, the stories they tell about the early days are hilarious.
Any weekend surrounded by aircraft is a good weekend😀

hello rick, good to hear you had a good time and by everyone for that matter. lots of things are sliding downwards.
sad news today that the engine factory here in bundy for the JAB engines but also his own "CAMIT ENGINE" has closed their doors. you would not meet a lover couple and more professional people to deal with. than the owners of CAM-IT. some might remember from years in the past where I have recommended [ if possible ] a tour of their facility. the absolutely amazing cnc machines with the latest technology bought in from around the world to set up for the purpose built factory, seemingly not that long ago, are now well and truly stopped and soon to be ready for the auction. . other than that I'm speechless.
