Hi All,The best advantage of Linux I can see is the stack of software that comes with, or is ready to download for, each ´Distribution´.I using Mandrake 10.1 , or Mandriva as it´s now called.The following software comes with the discs;WordprocessorSpreadsheetPresentationDrawingP ublishingProject PlanningEmailCalendars etc for PDA´s , Palms, Organisers etcAccountingetc, etcThe same windoze stuff would cost hundreds of $$$$$$$.This all comes on one DVD or 4 CDs.I got it from Everything Linux at the link below for the ridiculous price of $10, plus postage, what a ripoff!http://www.elx.com.au/ Got to say though Lloyd, I am still running the ´doze as well, as we´re still on the drip.... a bit. Takes a while to change over.Hoges
