    AeroTwin four stroke on MONARCH

Apart from the rotax four bangers which have been prototyped. AeroTwin have worked closely with Larry to configure the engine to suit pusher gyros, providing a cooling cowling and engine mounts etc.Perhaps, once you have a MLS (full flight rrpm, pre-rotator, 3-5 seconds in the air) and All Terrain G Force Landing Gear for stop and drop, with a beefed up slider rotor head which accomapanies the install of the MLS, put a four banager on it for reliability.........Then with all due respect to Roscoe and Birdy and all of Roscoe"s clients.......until you try it in this configuration, with the Aussie mods (beefed up wall thickness of tubes and plate).......Then you & I really dont know just how good it is. Though personally I have always known that this prototyping process Larry has been doing ( partially a result of customer feed back and testing testing testing) was always going to lead to a very versatile gyro indeed.Come and get me Ugly or Not!Mitch

Thanks Bloke,Sorry about the lack of wet, most others were drowning in it. ???I just looked at my high res shot and that metal cylinder has a shaft with a splined (sp ??) end on it.The end of the shaft appears to be almost in line with the prop plate.

The starter motor is on the side of the engine. The silver "thingie" is the clutch drum. If you look on there web site they now have a full parts brake down for the engine.
