    For anyone building or refurbishing a Gyrocopter there will be a new ROTOR KIT that will be of benefit to a lot of builders and will be available in September 2010.The Kit consists of;2 @ 3.6mtr 6061-T6 Aluminium 200C/8H12 Rotor blades4 @ 3.6mtr 4130 solid round bar Balance weights1 @ 600mm x 63.5mm x 28mm TITANIUM Hub Bar (machined finish)4 @ 480mm x 63.5mm x 5mm TITANIUM blade/hub Straps (machined Finish)6 @ 10mm TITANIUM Bolts/nuts10 @ 8mm TITANIUM Bolts/nuts2 @ Aluminium Blade/strap Spacers2 @ Composite blade tip CapsThis is a Material kit only and any bending, drilling or additional machining to be carried out by the builder.Longer 4.4mtr Blades will be available in November

    Interesting , tell us more.Vortech from the US have a blade kit similar to this, are these the same blades?rob

      Hi Rob,No, these are totally Australian.We had been looking at Titanium Hub bars for a while and decided to put out a complete kit with top of the line materials.Graeme

        Graeme,Cost for "kit" and can you provide the release notes to confirm material spec"s on the components. Also what is the pitch and preset conning angles.Thanks,Adrian

          In the original post was;"This is a MATERIAL KIT only and any BENDING, DRILLING or ADDITIONAL MACHINING to be carried out by the builder".Because there are so many variations in personal choice to coning angle, pitch etc, we are leaving those jobs to the builder, to suit his own requrements.Kit price will be $3250 + GSTGraeme
