Pete, the with the heavier blades, you should get a couple of bod's to helplift them on and off while you stand aside and direct them.Sam,way to go. I like the sound of that.Wetties !Cheers.Robert DunnMackay. Qld.Growing old is good while it lasts.

Sam, give Jeff Henly-Smith a call. He builds a hoist which clips onto the mast. He then attaches the the blades and hoists them up from beside the machine. Once the hoist reaches it's limit you continue to wind and the blades then swing over to directly above the rotor head where you lower into position with ease without popping piles. I am not sure how he gets them off as we left before the machine was dismantled but I am sure the method is the same only reversed. I have some pictures around somewhere which I will post. Jeff sells the hoist for about $400+ but he will confirm that for you. The idea is very good and simple to operate.

I recon Jeff's hoist is a good, simple, ball tearer of an idea.Get'n them off is easy Baz, gravity will help to get um down.Ignorance is bliss............but only till you realise you were. You can always get the answer you want, if you ask enough experts.
