Well a few people have been telling me how good this active noise reduction is, so i bought a kit for 260 dollars{i think}.Long story short, i got it hooked up today into a gallet helmet{from my chopper days}.Fair bit of stuffing around.Took it for a lap this afternoon and could not believe the difference.At times i wasnt sure if the 912 was still going, i could not hear any rotor noise at all, not even when i loaded them up.I only had to have the two radios {vhf,uhf } just cracked to hear transmitions, as apposed to full volume and still strugling to hear.The ipod was the same. Anyway i am heading of tomorrow for about a week and a bit so it will test the system{i will be taking a few 9 volt batteries for spares as you only get about 20hr out of them.}If it works as good as it did this afternoon, it will beat getting into the swag with your ears ringing!I got the kit from global aviation from Caloundra in qld.
