      Thanks Birdy, I know where your coming from however I have a few jobs to do on the farm that are basic but too dificult to get done off site so I need to learn to do it myself.

        Its not difficult, you need a very clean surface, you need to know what weight glass mat you need, plenty of Acetone to clean up with, gloves, allow lots of ventilation, lots of patience.Go find a place that does fiberglassing to get you materials and they are usually most helpful with advice. I have fibergalssed 3 or 4 galv

          I know too wot your sayn Elwynne, its handy stuff to have round for little jobs, just i hate the stink and mess.Like Brian, i have bad memories after do"n a few 30 000 and one 50 000 gal tanks [with roofs], troffs n all that stuff.

              Try a Google search on (books about fibreglassing) or ask at the suppliers thay often have fact sheets about most of the products thay stock.What do you want to do repair or build something.Fibreglass
