What grade aluminium for tail mount

I bought my gyro about 5 years ago in a bent condition. I have replaced the bent aluminium bits including the mast with 6061 T6.

Hi Elwynne, why not cut out the bits you need from your old mast, it"s the right material.Graeme.

Hi Elwynne, why not cut out the bits you need from your old mast, it"s the right material.Not only that but it also considerably stronger if it has the internal radius, (and you can find a straight piece long enough)
