Does anyone get to full backstick in flight? With the proper rotorhead setup I mean.

I can only speak for my Rosco but I have never hit full deflection on anything but wide open throttle [a couple of times]Birdy might get close but I doubt it. Full backstick for even a second would lead to big problems bringing it back quickly enough not to get too high of nose up. [My opinion ]

Disco,I never have.I emailed Larry Neal and asked him if he gets close to full back stick when he does his figure 8 manuevers, where he cranks back on the stick at the "bottom of the bucket".His reply.....No, never even close.Cheers,Mitch

Plenty of situations have it either momentarily touchn or peged on the back stop.Of course, it takes a high power to weight ratio machine to be able to hold it there and not sink into a tail slide. And there are a few gremlins to watch for if your there.

dun it doing a quick 180 while pulling up from a dive while "cattle spotting"was a bit of a see saw manuver, wouldn"t have pulled it off with out a lot of power in a light machine
