Hi Adrian thanks for the reply. Ok I get you so that offset is to counter the p factor ?Hi Pick. Quote, "P-factor, also known as asymmetric blade effect and asymmetric disc effect, is an aerodynamic phenomenon experienced by a moving propeller with a high angle of attack that produces an asymmetrical center of thrust." Unquote. The rotor head of a gyroplane is offset laterally to compensate for propeller torque.Aussie Paul.

Adrian, Paul thanks both for your replies, It makes a lot of sense now. Its a good thing to know just in case, not that you would ever change the power unit and psru for and opposite rotation but it would have all sorts of implications eh ?thanks again and all the best to youPick
