Be careful when working on a gyro with rear keel removed and not blocked. I once was in that situation and placed some weight on the rear of the engine and the craft tipped over backwards like a rat trap. Luckly I was a fast rat as the engine charges at you so fast and you cant hold it. The whole craft ended up sitting on the 3 blade prop. pointing up at the moon! I should of had the brains to block it first but in your younger days you were always in a hurry and never knew why!
