I am replacing an ea81 with a 1000hr. rotax 914 with no fuel pumps supplied. Is there an automotive pump that can do the job as Birt Flood wants $370 each pump. (In other words has anyone been up this road before)

Probably is Max, solong as it pumps more pressure than the regulater min.Do i know this ol pensioned 914??If so, i thort it hada coupla pumps with it.If not, iv got a couple ere.[ only catch is, you"ll hafta fly down ere to get um.

You guessed it Birdy, it"s you"re old faithful donc. I"ve been assigned with the installation task. Apparantly you couldn"t find the fuel pumps at the time. I would fly down in my new one if I had a suitable takeoff space. (still getting used to it) and am still locked out of our taxpayer funded a/s. Had to fit a pre-rot. to my trainer so I can leap out of the bush and keep ahead of the yuppies.
