Ron the original owner told me that it was flying with a 85kg jockeyi just had a look at the scales and i weigh 90kg don't want to weigh myself after a night on the beer. lolas for the rest i will have to see.as i said even if i don't fly it, any info on setting it up etc is greatly appreciated. i don't claim to have any great wisdom on gyro's and am very open minded but if the advice sounds sus i will ask again.i might even bring some homebrew rum to help the conversation. (no i don't brew it but have a good friend that does)buy the way how do you tell the rotor speed. i was looking through some post and people talk about rotor speed this rotor speed that, do they have a tacho fitted to the hub??cheerssmithinventions come frompeople who don't know anyBETTER.!!

Jason......forget bowt a rotor tacho, just learn about proper blade handling, winding up etc etc, the rest takes care of itself. Remember , relate to your blades, not ground speed when winding up etc.Your blades are going to be operating somewhere between 300....350 rpm in flight, you maintain the correct airspeed, and the blades keep you up there, decay your airspeed, and you will loose height, it's that simple. however latter as you gain skills, this statement changes a bit, ie...the slower you want to go, the more power you need to dial in, mate just enjoy flying, forgit about your blades and what speed they are doing. Anyway thats just my view bowt rotor tachos[] Safe flying alwaysRDC

nah never flown. hope to soon though.done skydiving bungie, been in small aircrafts and helicopters (mustering as spotter only) but never operated them.the gyoo was just sitting there and for years i had looked and wished. then one day the old man (ron) came into the shop and i asked and he said "do ya want it" hell yeah was the responce. so i now have a gyro just need the training to give it a go. cheerssmithyinventions come frompeople who don't know anyBETTER.!!
