The Prototype machine K1 has about 160 plus hours on it and all is going great guns. I currently have 4 students flying it and well on their way to receiving their Gyroplane licences. All 4 students were flying straight and level, including turns, both left and right on their first hour. All seem to be enjoying its stability, and ease to fly.My K2 is nearly done. Just waiting on the donk and gearbox.Below are some current pictures of G-762 (The Official Production Model) (Mine!!!) Regards Sam La Bruna.Rotor Craft Aust. Gyroplane Sales & Flight Training.

g"day sam, tony here, why such a big change in the tail area between first machine and current design. i was very interested in g800 tail. any assistance would be appriceatedHi TonyOne of the biggest issues faced by fully enclosed machines is having enough tail area to ensure the machine correctly weather cocks into wind, and doesnt suffer from any adverse yaw issues during flight with doors fitted and power off decent.K1 had several modifications made to its tail to compensate for such issues. These mods have left it with quite a heavy tail assembly which tends to bounce around and twist on rough surfaces. The new K2 has more than 1.5 times the surface area in both vertical and horizontal surfaces. The twin boom assembly is made of 4130 Chromoly which makes it stronger and lighter than the origional 6061T6 2x2.5.The increased surface areas will ensure that the machines Centre of Pressure stays well behind its Centre of Gravity. This can be quite a challange for gyro manufacturers as our machines lack the length and momment arm in our tails. A safe rotor to tail clearance also becomes an issue. Below are 2 photos taken during the build which better show the tail size.Regards Sam.

Belive it or not, they are already working on plans for K3. And a possible Deisel option!!! As for flying across ditches, NO PROBLEMS, but flying across water, NO THANKS.Regards Sam.
