Tim has now indicated, he is once again offering his service to asra, if the members so wish. This has come about after the resignations of the evans and adrian.Others will be now stepping up also, just let things pan out for the minute.Allans resignation was mooted some time ago, it was then delivered to asra recently, "they"were sitting on it, awaiting his return from holidays to further discuss it.The "reason" for his decision is not as you all may think, it will become apparent in the washup of all this.Be assured, all members will finally see the factual goings on within, from here on, asra can now move forward again.
If you aim for nothing, you'll hit it every time

Brian,ASRA"s response has already been published and is contained above in the first post on this thread titled Forwarding letter from the ASRA Board.Adrian.Thanks Adrian, no, I wasnt aware that the asra response had been published. Unfortunately, there are a number of parts that are very highly debatable and a opportunity has been lost to bury this issue once and for all. These parts are going to come out so the board would have been far wiser to get it right the first time.Pity.In regard to Tims leadership, if the board had a problem with his style or whatever of leadership, then it should have been dealt with at normal board meetings, not bought into a dispute over the way he worded a email, I have read the email and I acknowledge, he could have said, what he said a lot better, however, the point was lost that he did make and he is true when he says most pilots would rather a new hub bar rather than send the old one away for testing. I am one of those who would rather a new hub bar.For any one else out there reading, at the time the AD came in, I was one who had a time expired hub bar, I had sent one set of rotors away to have a new hub bar made but I had another set of blades here that were time expired. I had a job to do that badly needed the gyro and I was unable to beg, buy a set of rotors, I rang both Tim and Rosco and talked to them at length about my predicament as before the AD, I would have flown my old second set of rotors without a second thought. Both Tim and Rosco advised me NOT to fly with them, neither offered any dye testing or the like or even mentioned dye testing, this was about the time that the so called offenses were supposed to be occurring.Another thing, Tim is a person who thinks about things, specially when he has a problem to solve, he might appear not to be listening but he likes to think things through and this is an area that might no doubt have caused some frustration, particularly to those who think quick and expect everyone else to function at light speed. As far as anyone questioning Tims workmanship, they are very brave as he is pretty damm good at building gyros, I have seen him fly years ago and he flew as well as anyone except Jacko. Tims leadership, ? well, its no secret one part of ASRA wanted to go their own way and Tim wasnt the leader they wanted and he had to go. Had "they" done it legally, you would not have heard a peep out of me or probably any other member. The Evans say one thing and Tim and others said other things, fact is, Tim has been vindicated by a barrister who has more legal brains than all us put together, I think that says more than I could ever say!! There is more to come if the chinese whispers are correct I"m sorry to say, this is going to further implicate one party so very deeply that action will be taken and if this has been nasty, then stay tuned, you aint seen nothing yet !! I pray I"m wrong and I ask the person at question, to call off the dogs real quick. !!!!
