Riteo, back to the origional question, if thats the case, why should it be any different if your flyn sumthn other than a gyro?Your do"n zactly the same thing as you was in the gyro, over the same dirt, with the same people.Logic would say there is NO difference, so the law should say same.The difference is that ASRA administers gyro where with FW, ASRA has no say and FW"s operate under a whole different set of rules and regulation and thats just the way it is.Another way to look at it is on the highway driving your car

Thats right Birdy, you dont need any licence to drive anything around on your property but once you get in the air, then its a whole difernt ball game...specially since 9/11Thats a limp excuse, them crazies have been usen car bombs for years, regs dont stop nun of that.the law which is made by the commonwealth government explicitly says that the rules shall apply.Yeh, and aint that the same crew that recon its orrite for quiers to get married?I can see its annoying you which is unusual for you as everything is usually water off a ducks back !Dont be sorry Brian, i just dont like laws for the sake of laws.Theres gota be a reasonable reason for a law to be rit, otherwise its just beurocratic crap.In the world we live in, there are many things that annoy us, I"m annoyed driving down the road that has a 100K speed limit when you could quite easily drive at 120k"s and not cause a problem. The tax laws annoy me, I dont turn over a lot of money but even with the benefits of being a primary producer I seem to pay what I feel is too much tax. It annoys me every quarter when we do our BAS that it seems we are always paying to the ATO. I could keep winging for hours and hours boring you silly but there are laws and thats the way it is, if we didnt have laws then you have chaos. The government are elected, they create laws and bodies to police these laws. If you dont like a law, then you have to show cause why it should be changed and that usually needs hundreds of signature on petitions / writing to MP"s etc etc.Whilst there is much "beurocratic crap." there is a lot of that that is very good and serves us well . There is a very good reason that Birdy or I or anyone else cannot fly whatever we like over our own bit of dirt and if you cant see it then thats
