Here comes that broken gramophone record again! Read the $#@^%&*%$ Operations Manual. While we are on the deleteing of post question, the above is copied from a reply that John Evans put in another topic just recently, not that i have anything against it in the slightest, but why was my for sale add deleted for mentioning something along the same lines and this one is deemed to be fine,Barry?????[]

Mmmmmm...Is this political correctness gone overboard or just censorship going in the same direction? Seems the world's going mad. As well as flying today I went boating on the Gippsland Lakes. We have new rules as of the first of the year enforcing of wearing life jackets for boats under 16 odd feet. My boat is 17 and off I went as usual. Got told by a policeman (friend) that anyone one-up in a boat also must wear one too. It's all changing far too fast for me.Pete

Llewella, its been brought to my attention that some posts which alluded to the Rotorcaft web site have been deleted shortly after having been posted. As the secretary of our Association will you make an inquiry with Barry as to what is happening with these deletions? Its my understanding that deleted posts would be recorded ( within the administrators section of the web site) as to when they were posted, by whom and when they were deleted and by whom. Ted

I'll second that. While I have no beef against Barry, I can't understand his actions and I feel that there needs to be some clarification. His silence is puzzling.telfFlying - The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss. (Douglas Adams-The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy)

I can't see wot all the hoo har is about. From wot i'v seen, a few [ me included] posters were get a bit happy with language thats not real nessasary, helpful or constructive, and to keep some common decency and basicly good public manners, me n the other offenders were asked to 'keep it clean'. For sum reason, sum took offence to this , call'n it an attack on our freedom of speech. Get real.I think sum of the offenders are just offended at be'n told they're offencive. Bit like a spoiled brat that gets upset when he gets his ear screwed coz he just burned the house down. Wot he realy needs is.................... .Ignorance is bliss............but only till you realise you were. You can always get the answer you want, if you ask enough experts.

I agree with you Birdy there was alot of language that wasnt good, but when i have now had 5 separate topics/threads (not posts) deleted, some of them for no apparent reason other than a couple of them had links to an other site, and no reason given, that is what i've got against it, then other users after that, can post the same thing/language and its fine, thats my beef, and no reason given, if the web master would just explain that to me that would be a start, i cant speak for Ted or any one else, the reason i'm asking questions on this thread is cause all mine get deleted..

Wouldn't be a good idea bones to complete your profile. I remind you of your post 6th July 2005:Barry as per your private email remove my name from this forum and my access as i explained this arvo that it was not connected to the other issue, and if people dont want to hear the truth about certain things just because i mentioned the word black, maybe they should just stick their head in the sand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how ever you have taken the action you have, good bye allI did not mind you bouncing back but then it seemed only to sell your items on the forum. The tone of your post was undesirable and yes, I copied what you said and posted for all to see which has been removed. As you know there is a more recent policy against all inappropriate language, innuendo, derogative and insulting comments that do the Association absolutely no good what-so-ever.Barry Ferguson,ASRA Webmaster

Ok Barry that once again covers the news from 6 months ago, can we time warp forward and tell me why you took my last two adds off????In other words, if i put it back on again IS IT GOING TO STAY THERE??Why was John's post deemed to be fine when you say that mine wasnt?? and his post was after mine,(I think)Wouldn't be a good idea bones to complete your profile. Why Barry i know of one other forum that YOUR a member of and you do not have any more than the minimum info in your profile.
