Cam i doubt you will have any trouble setting up your prerotator with those rotors mine are soooo smooth, no shake at all and only very minute 2 per rev shakes.Remember -- A good friend will come and bail you out of jail...BUT a true friend will be sitting next to you saying, "Damn...that was fun!"Mark

The prerotater only amplifies a shake thats already there, so if you tune the blades, the shake will go, prerotater or no prerotater. My rosco head with AK's onit dosn't move at all, and me prerotater is out frount.Ignorance is bliss............but only till you realise you were. You can always get the answer you want, if you ask enough experts.

I agree ,Davo. I have a Max Tout rotorhead with AK blades & a electric pre rotator out front - no stick shake.

I've taken a set of dead smooth blades off a machine, swapped em to a shakey machine......absolutely no change.......still shook. One thing I've learnt, is that more often than not, the problem is the head,in part, loose pivots, misaligned, etc. Also the pilot maybe does not know how to properly tune his blades, he thinks he does, but does'nt get it rite. You can spend bloody hours getin it rite, a lot of guys give up. A one thou shim too much can stuff the lot. Now if you got a seriously stiffened mast, that opens up even more problems, I know. And finally, don't assume your blades are balanced rite by the maker, check em.........properlyjust my view.......Russ....A1014 NT....gods country

Been earn'n a live'n,[working].Ya right Russ [first time for everything ay]. Tuneing the blades includes the 'hole rotar systm'.Anything outa line will make the hole setup shake. But if you start with a new Rosco head, then you'll know its spoton.Ignorance is bliss............but only till you realise you were. You can always get the answer you want, if you ask enough experts.

Sure have, still in the box. Concentrating on getin the ej22 up and runnin, then the new headI tell you wat tho, this special head is so simple, the slider bit is the only difference between our usual heads. Nothin to copy aye. With keeping your original head, and remachining the roll block bizo thingo, it would cost bugger all then to do. Spoken to numerous guys re these slider heads, they swear by em. Landed Oz, bowt $1600 for memory,(complete rotor head) as I said B4, could do it now, for less than half.....way less. Will take a pickey or 2 and post em on the forum, along with me new ***** of a engineRuss....A1014 NT....gods country
