Bob,I'm a newby to gyro's, totally full of confidance and know everything about them. Went and got my licence, actually got a bit of a suprise as the blastered machine did not behave itself as it should have but confidently earnt my licence. After 8 hrs solo my takeoffs are tops, by the way thats my version, my general flying is quiet good but the landings, well the bloody machine just does not behave itself as it should, in fact I have just grounded myself as the machine is misbehaving itself worser and worser in landing. Definatly not me. I think I need to con a pro for some friendly tuition without admitting same. A point is buggar the books and all the advice from everybody, its only hands on help which gets you over each hump in the learning curve. I stood beside the runaway at Toorumbry and watched many landings and learnt everything so I thought, by the way, thanks fellas, but I recon I could do with some hands on pro help just on landings as the rest is ok. Well thats my version. Unless I overcomb the landings I will have to invent sky hooks. Bob I have to concede that hands on tuition is regretfully necessary as we are not perfect and others may see our efforts as green with danger, buggar. I still recon its the machines fault.Don't fly upside down Ajm

During a recent flight test, the CFI who was examining me took over to demonstrate a point. Strangely the aircraft started flying as if it was on rails, performed brilliantly and flowed through several exercises. I had to comment as I figured something odd must have happened to the previously turbulent air.. and was told "The plane doesn't know who's flying it". I guess there has to be another explanation.Dave
