I'v finaly got around to fitting the new 912 [100hp] rotax in the ferel and have don'e some 'work' in it[ bout 10 hours] and its amazn what an extra 50% of power makes. [
]The only changes is the extra power and have changed to a 66" 2bl ivo mag prop at bout 14*.Max rpm set to 5300 with prop pitch.60mph cruise at 3800/4200 rpm.Min speed without sink; 0mph indicated [?]Climb at 20pmh indicated with full power;900fpmClimb at 40mph indicated with full power;1800+fpm.[xx(] [ scary ****]Fuel burn at cruise; bout 3 hours on 40l.Fuel burn at work; alot more. [}]Verdict.............. who needs a helicopter?[
