Yup, the ASI is only effective and accurate if it has a head wind. At min speed, the thing is at bout 45* to the airflow. Am guna make up a thingy that'll be pointn horisontal at min AS to get a better idea of wot it is, but i do know its not very fast."Birdy, what makes then the rotor turn ???"Not alot Paul, they aint do'n alota rpm at that speed.I'v only ever known it to flow once Bob, in '83', when we had 15" o rain in 24 hours. If your lookn at a sat map, you'll see the Huckitta used to run down ere, but over the zillions o years its cut a new gouge to where it is now.Ignorance is bliss............but only till you realise you were.birdy, here.

No, no sat map.I tried to use that google earth thingy once but couldn't get it to work. I thought it might be a useful way ta have a quick first look at properties that come up for sale !I was just wondering about it because its got a bore down there somewhere. Dunno if thats the crowded number five bore ?I see that " Bungobine " over at Mt Coolon is up for sale. Thatlooks an interesting paddock ?Robert DunnMackay. Qld.Growing old is good while it lasts.
