Have to say the folks at Hegar 4 Manufacturing in the USA are real nice people and they make good gear.I installed the clear high pressure brake line tube. I had intended to install a miniball ball valve in the system as a park/holding brake, though decided to test the system with the basic setup first.Without the Blades and static....my gyro was slipping/skidding on the grass at 5500 to 5700 engine rpm. The brakes were holding. I would expect with the blades spinning up, the gyro will hold to the manufacturers standard. ;D As a reference point 5500 gives 295 rrpm, 5700 gives 306 rrpm.I am very happy with this result and when the "big blow" moves through I"ll be out flight testing.3-5 seconds to leave the ground @ 325 rrpm is what the MLS is designed to do.Mitch.
