What ecu are you using Max? Most aftermarket ecu"s have a test program where you can have the injectors firing or the ignition sparking without the engine running. I used a laptop to do this on the Motecs I was using.Aussie Paul.

I see you have noted that cyl 4 is suss........swap injectors and see what happens then. ( BTW......have a spare ecu to lend you if needed )
If you aim for nothing, you'll hit it every time

Max, Sam began with that system on his Kruza BUT had problems and changed to Motec. The Kruza guys would know what the problems were. Same never actually told me what troubles he had with that system.Aussie Paul.

One of our boys just purchased a P.G. machine with a motec system. Looks nice and simple. I like simple. The worlds becoming too complicated. I can understand anyone ripping off the electronics and fitting a carb. However I have a dream one day of trying to "speck-out" the gyro.

Brian Moloney sent me his drawings to adapt the car ECU. The kruza boys ended up with them. It may have been their wiring construction that caused Sam"s problems. There are many Moloney systems working well out there BUT it is a complicated system to make the car ECU work for our purposes.Aussie Paul.

Well, I pulled out the suspect no. 4 and no. 2 injectors as no. 2 pops out as well. I thought, Darwin is an expensive place and the average tradesperson wants min. charge $90 to make eye contact. So I went to the local parts place (rubbish dump) and found a 96 falcon. Removed the fuel rack and injectors (along with two wheels and tyres headlights

Max, if I could remember correctly, it was reading at 35 psi on gauge. Gauge installed after fuel pump and before common fuel rail. You may want to read up on EJ"s literature to double confirm. Lou

I put the injectors back. They seem to spray ok. I"ve tested the TPS with an ohm meter, and seems ok. It all happened so suddenly. Very rough running. Prob. wouldn"t leave the ground. Very rich mixture, soot out exhaust. Still reading manuals and thinking.
