Does look good Phil. They now have the 2.5 litre engine as standard.Priced at 32K US for the kit. Have'nt flown with Eric yet. Will do when he gets back from working holiday out west.I would love to get my hands on an Owen Dull setup like Erics but I can'nt get on to him and from what I believe he isn't interested in building any more.

The rums not the problem, the frigg'n rain is.Yarded a mob yesterday, blew like a bastered all day, and just as we dropped the steaks on the hot plate the wind changed to the south, make'n for gritty steak, then a bloody cold windy , light rain started.Echo thought his swag was waterproof.[heh heh]Only had bout 5mm o rain, just enough to make the night unbcomfortable........... for sum.Ignorance is bliss............but only till you realise you were. You can always get the answer you want, if you ask enough experts.

A wet swag doesnt make for a good nights sleep !! I carry a plastic tarp to throw over the swag as well if it loks like rain.Had 52 points here, will do good with follow up rain.Brian

I just looked up the specs for your raf 2000 and they say you wiegh 790 lbs or 359 KG and your horse power is 130 for a ratio of 6.076 lbs per horse power. Now on the other hand a Sparrow Hawk is slightly heavier at 847 LBS but has a bigger engine 165 HP for a ratio of 5.133 LBS per horse power. So when yer doin them rings have you got another set of peddles in your cab that yer pumpin on or is the appropreate mod a turbine engine?[] By the way, Nice forum, Just found it![]Flying the right side up in Canada
