The main reason that the world hasn"t reacted hard enough against the rebels and Russia, is because America hasn"t stepped in as they usually do, basically for 2 reasons. One, there is no oil in the country and 2, there wasn"t many Americans on the plane, if any. The UN has become a toothless tiger, and Holland cant afford to be in any part of any war, as half of its land is below sea level.... so if Holland upsets any of its neighbours, all they have to do is poke a few strategically places in the sea wall and half of Holland goes under...... World stalemate.... :So the rebels keep on attacking the Ukraine with Russian support, America just pretends nothing is wrong and poor Holland just has to bend over the barrel and cop it you know where.... Oh, and Australia... well, sorry, we are too far away to count in major world affairs as yet, so "our wonderful leader"

Tony you got me reading about the disputed territories of Israel, and discovered these areas have been fought over for thousands of years way back to the Macedonians then the Romans even the British empire had a go. There was the 1920 Mandate for Palestine. Then the 1949 Armistice Agreement.Then in 1959 the Gaza strip became the United Arab Republic Then in 1967 there was the six day war,with Israel Syria and Palestine whereby Israel acquired occupied implemented state imperial law on about 500 Sq KM"s Golan Heights, then there were rebel forces fighting over water on this land.Then there was the 2005 Unilateral Disengagement agreement or plan.Then there was the Oslo agreement. You see it"s just going to on and on Like the countless battles that date back thousands of years. I don"t think there will ever be a peace agreement. The real worry is Israel has nukes. But there neighbors are too close to use them. I do feel sorry for Palestine as they are completely enclave by boarders they can"t cross Egypt to the south Lebanon to the north Israel to the west And the Mediterranean to the east. So if you are born in palestine that"s pretty much where you will spend your life. I believe there is a Syrian boarder if you cross you are never allowed back. I think we are pretty lucky here in Australia to watch all this blissfully on the idiot box. I just hope it stays that way. I do ponder though if Australia ever has an invasion will people of other nations be watching it blissfully on there idiot boxes too. Too many wars, we need to live in peace. When I become world dictator the first thing I"ll do is ban any religion with a doctrine.
