    • G"Day Des,Your welcome Mate. How are all the WA (Lameroo Crew) boys, these days. Bindoon Club active?I have a couple more pics I wanted to share. I built the staircase lights into this stone faced concrete backed wall, which has been Texture Coated. I made timber boxes which I concreted in situ. They were placed in position against the timber backing boards then covered with "mud".More luck than skill they ended up right where they should have been.Des I know your son is pretty handy with a camera. Perhaps you could show him the double line pic. Notice in the pic looking across at the staircase from the bottom how there are double lines for each single strand. This is some digital anomaly that occurs with digital cameras?Cheers,Mitch

              • Hmmm,Does this make me a kick-**** internet legal boffin?? Hardly likely at all, when it comes down to it I don"t know much legal stuff at all, I"m just a f"ing argumentative prick who enjoys such stouches, especially when a friend looks like being screwed over.So glad to see this result Mitch, I"m sure your no holds barred approach combined with determination and bloody minded persistence has led to their pestilence and your pleasure. However, your money is not yet in the bank [on second thoughts, screw them, make it your hands!] so do not back down until you have the filthy lucre in your mits, if you don"t have the money on the day it"s straight back to the court house for you, don"t let off for a moment, summon the marshalls and send them out to fix the dodgy brothers little red wagon.... you did ask nicely and they said "no" so you are getting what"s fair and due to you.Cheers,Nic.

                • Well it finally came to pass.Good thing we had our win and got paid out before she was sent off for a little holiday. These are the two scammers that run, maybe that should read ran BOD Corp...BOD (Bree O"Dwyer). These are the two that tried to intimidate me...LOL. I have already rung their office which of course is now unattended and message machine only. I congratulated them on their convictions and told them I hope the are looking forward to their respective terms of internments. We were at the end of a long line of ripped off clients by dodgey works and threats from her and standover tactics by him. They have been cheating the old and infirmed, the meek and the mild, all the time this FairBrothers case was hanging over them. The frightened old folk and scammed them out of their money.Elise and I are thankfull that the law and the legal system which "she" thought was readily manipulated and to her benefit, finally bit her on the bum. No the woman who professed to be a Builder and was applying to become a Master Builder here in Tassy, is now known as a "dumb ass crim" or "fresh meat" to those who she now resides with. :-*As to his fate, sentencing is listed on my calender. I will be in the court room that date to ensure the Matt and Bree have to look me in the eye one more time before she is taken away for her term and he gets whatever the judge decides. Fact is there are two less scamming dodgey contractors loose on the Tasmanian public. I find it hard to fathom how we allow numb nutted creatures like these to continue trading as Company Directors when they are up on fraud type charges. This case has been in the courts for 2-3 years and during that time these two ran amuck around the state. All that pain, grief and crap, we and more importantly the older folk have suffered at their hands, should never have been allowed to eventuate.THIS IS WHY I AM A BIG SUPPORTER OF THE RIGHT TO BARE ARMS........and take care of business then and there! ;D

                    • Young Builder has been trying to get me to do some stone work for himsince he and his wife inspected our stone house some time ago.Offered to instruct him in stone pitching techniques and give him acouple days at "Builders" rates in cash.I sprung some lines and laid the bottom two courses on each pillar, explaining the process. We worked along side each other for two days........I told him he wasgood to go and finish the job on his own.Last thing he said to me was he hoped I could give him at leastanother 8 -10 days. There are 8 columns/pillars in total and his wife is keen to keep meon the job, so that Damien doesn"t rush it and to continue the "look".The pillars presently under construction extend up onto the secondfloor and above to the roof of the portico. There is also a fire chimney to face with stone.Anyway it"s a good feeling to be able to go out and consult andinstruct in stone laying after losing the use of my left arm/hand andhaving two spinal surgeries some three years ago.The other great benefit here is the high profile location of the houseand the association I have formed with this young builder. The planwas always to get back to reasonable health and put myself out theredoing the "trick" upmarket stuff.Last pic shows our house which is nearing completion with two more bedrooms comming on line before next spring.Have a Safe and Happy Easter.Fly Safe.

                              • Mitch.......query, do them "stones/rocks" suck up the winter cold, and transfer it into the house, then you chase yourself trying to heat the place up.
