I'm not sure if there has been a similar system used in the past, if there has , it will almost cerainly be found in the Lovegrove books, available from our Librarian. See my post under "Builder's Rescources"John EvansThink logically and do things well, think laterally and do things better.

Been ponder'n this brilliant new idea, and the thing that wurrys me most is wot happens if theres an accidental 'follow through'?? A follow through would consist of a 'solid' exhaust emission, providing magnifyed thrust, or recoil.this could be a hand full for a newbe.[or a face full if your follow'n it.]Also, have the enviromental consiquenses of such a setup been concidered?? I'v heard meathain is more harmfull to the 'o' zone than regular internal combustion exhaust emissions.[just the museings of a SCG.]Ignorance is bliss............but only till you realise you were. You can always get the answer you want, if you ask enough experts.

Telf, try this site.www.microjeteng.comThe design for the Turbo-Prop has been based on the standard HF65, 100 and 150 engine units and at present can provide up to 130 horsepower. Based on the weight of an 82 kilo piston engine of comparable power, the Turbo-Prop is an incredible 7 times lighter. This weight advantage, combined with its multi-fuel facility, results in greater economy and a much higher power to weight ratio. The design has many other benefits over the equivalent piston engine, some are listed below:- - Extended service intervals based on the greater structural integrity of the engine design, - Direct airframe mounting, - Greatly reduced vibration, - Flexible prop size, - Reduction in engine noise, - Engine upgrades to achieve greater horsepower. The Turbo-Prop is versatile in its application:- - Generators, - Experimental aviation aircraft, - - UAV/Drones and small missiles, - Helicopters, - Gliders. The possibilities are endless! Stolen from their web site... for your benefit.Ted
